For the first few minutes, I was a little concerned that it would steer too much towards silly sex jokes, but it soon gets better. Phoebe Waller-Bridge not only plays the leading role, but also wrote all the texts, based on a theater performance. She often breaks the fourth wall with comments aside. The best episode is the fourth, when she goes on a contemplation with her sister. The shameless humor goes hand in hand with a more serious storyline that comes about through flashbacks.

Wonderfully cynical, rude and fresh, I love it. Constantly breaking through the fourth wall takes some getting used to, but Fleabag's stares and dry/cynical comments make the series. Original approach and fresh acting. Very nice first season and well worth it.
