Dan Stoddard, the mayor of Los Angeles, California, has set up a special police force, "The Most Wanted" unit, to catch the most wanted criminals. Captain Linc Evers leads the unit. Together with Sergeant Charlie Benson and Officer Kate Manners, they track down the city's most dangerous criminals, often through daring undercover work.
