Monroe plot
Doctor Gabriel Monroe is a brilliant but rather unusual neurosurgeon. He has his quirks and is not afraid to share them with everyone. He gets to see many patients who have fallen victim to serious illnesses or who have been involved in terrible accidents. A British clone of House MD but, it must be said, a very good one. James Nesbitt is perfectly cast as the brilliant but rather unusual neurosurgeon Gabriel Monroe, and the cast around him is also top notch. Add to that beautiful storylines, many successful jokes and a high but pleasant pace and you have a great series. With only six episodes on the short side, but this first season certainly leaves you wanting more.
