More of the same, with certain storylines taking on a soap-like character, especially around Don. Nevertheless, the quality of the plot and in particular the acting is much higher, making the word "soap" out of place. Let's just say there's an abundance of drama. Anyway, nice bittersweet moments, like the dialogue between Pete and Peggy at the end of the season.

The character development is especially interesting. We get to see a bit more of Don's past again, Pete slowly starts to mature, and Peggy starts to develop more and more.

Cinematographically not really at a higher level than the previous season, therefore also for this season 3*.
