Jägarna season 1

Agree with Bottleneck, mostly. My detective-fatigue does start to increase per series, especially with the new ones (watching eg this classic Maigret remains pleasant and intriguing).

Here you can see a lot coming from miles away and there are the 'necessary' coincidences involved, but this one manages to keep it reasonably stylish and well thought out, with Lassgård certainly being an extra asset.

Unfortunately I didn't get much from the last (double) episode due to circumstances, but oh well.

3 stars.

Jägarna season 1

Great series. With that typical Scandinavian signature; a nice no-nonsense (forest) atmosphere, good plot and acting and appealing characters to annoy you (in a positive sense) or to empathize like with Lassgård.

Especially the last episode. Few ingredients (a few people in a remote forest) and that's exactly why it's tight, if well executed as in this case.

PS Apparently NPO always broadcast two episodes in a row.
