House of Guinness tells the story of one of Europe's most famous and enduring dynasties: the Guinness Family. Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the story focuses on the fallout from the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery. His cunning will had a far-reaching impact on the fates of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who collaborate with the growing juggernaut that is Guinness.

I really thought this was a fantastic series, captivating and very well acted, I loved it.
Perhaps the music could have been a bit more traditional Irish, but otherwise a real winner...

Wow! I really enjoyed this series. I thought the acting was top-notch and the accompanying music was fantastic. It took me a while to get into it, but after that, I was unstoppable 
It's also great that some of the sex and/or violence scenes don't go too far. A huge cliffhanger, too. Let's hope for a second season.
