Homecoming plot

Heidi Bergman is a social worker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Center, a Geist Group facility that helps soldiers return to civilian life. Walter Cruz is one of these soldiers eager to begin the next phase of his life. Meanwhile, Colin Belfast, an ambitious businessman with questionable motives, is the manager of Heidi and the institution. Four years later, Heidi has started a new life herself. She lives with her mother and works as a waitress. Suddenly, a Department of Defense inspector comes by and questions her about why she left Homecoming. Heidi realizes that there is a very different truth behind the story she tells herself.
