Hierro plot

Experienced judge Candela Montes is transferred to El Hierro, the smallest and most remote of the Canary Islands. She ends up in a close-knit, closed community, and doesn't make herself particularly popular. Shortly after her arrival, the body of young islander Fran is fished out of the sea. He was murdered the day before his wedding to Pilar, the daughter of the shady businessman Díaz. He is therefore the main suspect. Candela, however, decides to release him on bail, much to the incomprehension of the islanders.
