Top series, my first 5 star rating. The makers of Gomorrah have created an international version of the Neapolitan mafia epic and have succeeded with flying colors. Because the series also takes place in Mexico, the US and Italy, among other places, the cocaine brewery comes to life. The series is grim, dark and almost all about bad guys. That makes it a bit difficult to identify with sometimes. Part of the viewing public will drop out because of this. This series purchased by the VPRO (who said left-wing goat wool socks here?) can now be seen on NPO Plus. If this were a Netflix series, it would be trending right away. Incredibly cleverly made, full of surprises, rock hard and Mogwai's music provides a constant threat. Do not miss this!
