In some episodes they clearly don't quite know what to do anymore and it derails a tad in uninteresting or bland plot twists. But overall, it's an entertaining season, featuring some of the best moments from the series. Katherine, the new housewife, is a nice addition as the better housewife than Bree, with a secret that remains captivating to the very end. It is of course superficial chewing gum for the eyes, but if it produces this kind of television I don't mind.

Better than season 2 and 3! Especially the first part of the season is very strong, but from the tornado episode (where there is also quite bad acting all of a sudden) it starts to get worse and we get some soap content and boring parts again. But overall even better than season 3.
Katherine is the new housewive, and she likes it. Acts very strong, comes out well and the competition and sneering at/with Bree are a lot of fun. She has a mysterious side to her story, which becomes clear in the last episode. Unfortunately, it's a bit of an anticlimax, as her child's death by a cupboard feels a bit silly. It is also separate from her ex-husband and everything around it. It seems like they suddenly had to come up with something in the end.
It's good that they finally confront Edi about her behavior, but actually she had already gone too far in the first 3 seasons because she kept harassing Susan. This wasn't enough to scold her? That was much more intense.
Lynette's cancer story is poignant and realistic, but it is very short. Before you know it she's healed again and it looks like the storyline was forced in because they hadn't done anything like this before. That's too bad.
