Big Little Lies plot
The black comedy Big Little Lies tells the story of three mothers of first-graders, whose supposedly perfect lives lead to a murder. Excellent miniseries from HBO, especially worth watching for the well-developed characters and the beautiful dialogue. The plot may also be there. Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern in particular are great, but the entire cast is top notch. Director Jean-Marc Vallée has been busy in recent years, we can say that. Too bad there are only seven episodes; it's a shame to have to say goodbye to these intriguing characters so soon.

Strong, well-written mini-series. Until the very last moment, it remains guessing who is killing whom. And what a cast!! Also a nice leader with the beautiful song Cold Little Heart by Michael Kiwanuka.
