Älska Mig plot
Sten and his children Aron and Clara are all looking for happiness in love, but it turns out not to be so easy. Dating is very difficult for Clara, and she begins to doubt whether she will ever find someone. Her brother Aron already has a girlfriend, but building a relationship is quite a challenge. Sten must try to open up to a new love after a long marriage.

Swedish drama about the love affairs of three generations in a family. Leading actor Josephine Bornebusch wrote the screenplay and directs. The generally light-hearted story is dramatized by a number of dramatic events; loss, grief and forgiveness prevent it from remaining superficial. The fine fleur of Swedish cinema makes its appearance. The acting is therefore excellent. Johan Ulveson (the psychiatrist from Bonusfamiljen) plays an important role as a searching paterfamilias, so that the complications of the 60+ generation also receive ample attention. For those who like Scandinavian drama like Mellem Os (Between Us), Bonusfamiljen or Hjem til Jul (Home for Christmas), I can recommend this series. Maybe not quite on par with these three, but there is plenty to enjoy.

Pleasant Swedish series about the love affairs of several generations within one family. The endearing characters, the understated humor and certain striking emotional scenes easily lift this above mediocrity. The mixture of romance, drama and humor is somewhat reminiscent of the work of Richard Curtis, and in particular Love Actually. With six episodes on the short side, this would actually leave you wanting more, if it weren't for the fact that the second season seems to be rather mediocre. Shame.
