Walking with Dinosaurs plot

"Walking with Dinosaurs" chronicles the 160-million-year era of the dinosaurs, from their origin to their sudden demise. The series examines the climate and geography, the plants, the insects, and the important questions such as: where did the dinosaurs come from? And why did they disappear, geologically, from one moment to the next, when they could have survived for so long?

Make sure it's on there. Wonderful documentary series. So far no dinosaur documentary has been able to top this for a series from 1999. There are also two episodes in which they show how they made the series.

Nor do they choose the most obvious dinosaurs that were already known to the general public. Of course you do have the Tyranosaurus and the stegosaurus that belong to the more famous dinosaurs, but the number of dinosaurs I have come to know thanks to this series is enormous. Just think of the Postosuchus (not actually a dino), Placerias (not a dino either), coelophysis, Allosaurus, Diplodocus, Liopleurodon, Ornithocheirus, Polacanthus, Utharaptor, Eustreptospondylus,....I can go on keep going.

For the enthusiasts: there is also 'Walking with beasts' and 'Walking with monsters'. In addition, they once made a special episode about the Allosaurus called 'The ballad of big al'.
