The Crime of the Century plot

Two-part documentary series about the scandal surrounding the painkiller OxyContin. This drug turned out to be a prescription drug. Traded not by shady men in balaclavas and loaded machine guns, but by Italian suits and people with connections in high places. An indictment of Big Pharma and the political actors and government regulations that allow overproduction, reckless distribution and misuse of synthetic opiates.
