The 2000s plot

We see the major events that the United States experienced in the decade of 2000. The cultural and political milestones of the decade, including technological triumphs such as the iPhone and social media, President George W. Bush's war on terror, and the response to the hurricane katrina. We follow the presidential elections of Barack Obama and the financial crisis. Hip-Hop is becoming dominant and there is a creative renaissance in television land. The first decade of the 21st century was one of the most dramatic in American history.
