'Great Yellowstone Thaw' tells the story of the animals surviving one of the toughest seasonal transitions on Earth. As winter gives way to spring, temperatures rise and all of Yellowstone begins to buzz with life. Beavers feast on juicy young shoots, baby bison take their first hesitant steps and grizzly bear cubs emerge from their den to explore the new green world. Spring is also a dangerous time. After the scarcity of winter, the wolves are more hungry than usual.
