The British quality series Unforgotten is now in its 6th season. Creator Chris Lang has once again written a layered cold case investigation in which the backgrounds and motives of the characters are subtly illuminated. Unforgotten contains numerous scenes full of beautifully subdued emotions. At a leisurely pace, all characters are given room to grow. The line between perpetrators and victims is thin, but that is precisely what makes Unforgotten special. And although the second half of this season sags a bit here and there, Unforgotten once again proves to be one of the best drama series in the United Kingdom. (Together with Line of Duty, Happy Valley, The Responder, Blue Lights and Hidden). All made with passion and above all compassion.
