Detective Sam Wazowski and Detective Kelly Duff are two completely different female detectives in their early 40s. Both are ambitious and excel at work in their own way. But in their private lives, they both struggle with loneliness, dysfunctional families, messed up love lives, and the feeling that their professional aspirations may not quite align with their personal needs. Their friendship could help balance each other, if only they didn't drive each other completely mad.
