Brothers Max and Jake take a car trip through Edinburgh. They accidentally kill a pedestrian in a dark street and from that moment on they end up in an increasingly escalating nightmare. The brothers may have covered their tracks, but the dead man's neighbors and family are increasingly questioning his cause of death.
