17-year-old Julie has been missing for six months and police investigator Jan Michelsen is desperate to give her mother answers. When Jan finds the remains of a girl of the same age and another girl is suddenly kidnapped, he enlists the help of profiler Louise Bergstein to better understand the killer's mind. Pressured to rescue the two kidnapped girls, Jan and Louise must predict the killer's next move.

A new story that doesn't really require you to have seen the first two seasons, unless you want to know where Louise's nightmares come from. In this third season, Louise is still as depressed as in the previous seasons. This takes some getting used to, but apparently belongs to the character that is being portrayed. The plot (a pity that Moviemeter still shows the plot of season 1 with all seasons) is well put together, although the gap of 3 years between episodes 4 and 5 is hard to swallow. This third season is again full of the one-man /-woman's police actions which detracts a bit from the whole. Despite these flaws, this season is again an excellent production of Danish quality, fascinating and occasionally exciting, with a well-known and good cast. The observant viewer can already predict the solution surrounding the disappearance of baby Sebastian , which is presented in the last episode, in episode 4.
