Columbo plot

Every criminal makes the mistake of underestimating Lieutenant Columbo. He's a police inspector with an old crumpled raincoat, a cigar butt and a ramshackle Peugeot 403. He looks like an incompetent bumbler. But with his politeness and his much talk about his wife, he wrests a confession from even the most cunning murderer.

Columbo! Years ago.

Why not catch a season then? For the good times.

And there is no disappointment. On the contrary, a lot of film fun about Peter Falk, a police officer one of a kind.

The structure of the episodes is almost always the same (Sixth episode is slightly different): a crime is committed, we know the perpetrator and we just have to wait for "him".; At first glance he seems clumsy, confused and cannot be taken "seriously" until... he keeps pushing the perpetrator into closer shoes.

Easy to follow, funny and relaxing. Is also cinema.

I have all seasons of Columbo and this season might be in my top 3. Well-known and established actors and actresses are present in many episodes. To name a few: Janet Leigh, Leslie Nielsen, Patrick McGoohan, Robert Vaughn. As noted by Movsin, episode 6 is indeed an outlier, as the perpetrator remains unknown until the last moment. This is a departure from the 'Open Book Format' that was normally used in the series.
