The Fugitive plot

Richard Kimble, a respected doctor from the fictional town of Stafford, Indiana, is one day wrongly convicted of murdering his wife. According to witnesses, she and Kimble had a serious argument the night before her death. Kimble is found guilty and sentenced to death. On his way to death row, the train in which Kimble is being transported derails and he manages to escape. From then on, he is a fugitive being hunted by the police everywhere, including Stafford Police Inspector Philip Gerard. He is determined to arrest Kimble, but deep down he doubts his guilt. Kimble sets out to find the true culprit.
