The Morning Show is back for a 3rd season, and how! My criticism of the first two seasons of The Morning Show was that it was a good but slick production about neurotic characters in a reservation full of wonderful characters. Little of that in season 3. While the themes are largely the same, TMS shifts its focus to racism, underpayment, the power of advertisers, takeovers and cutbacks. The battleground is moving to the top of media group UBA.
A strong find is the hack that reveals private email data of employees on a large scale. All relationships are put on edge, culminating in a grandiose way in an interview with TMS presenter Chris Hunter (Nicole Beharie). with UBA board chairman Cybil Reynolds, played by an excellent Holland Taylor.
