The Librarians plot

Frances O'Brien is the stern Catholic and unabashedly racist head of a small-town library. Her life becomes a lot more complicated when she is forced to hire Christine Grimwood as head of the children's books department. Christine was once Frances' best friend, but is now a drug dealer. Frances struggles with the past and with her prejudices, but doesn't want to be distracted from what really matters: the library.
