Drie vriendenkoppels gaan elk seizoen met elkaar op luxe vakantie, tot een van de stellen ontkoppelt. En dat heeft impact op de hele groep. The Four Seasons kijkt als een reünie van Friends of Cold Feet, maar blijft de eerste afleveringen hangen in uitgebreide exposés over first world problems; klein ongemak, grote zorgen. Een vergelijking met The White Lotus ligt voor de hand, maar deze vier seizoenen missen echter de scherpe satire, de donkere humor en het vileine venijn. The Four Seasons is er voor wie van relatieproblemen en kabbelende feelgood houdt.
