The New York Gala's life is turned upside down when her husband embroils the family in financial malpractice. This forces Gala to flee the city with her teenage daughter Kate and her aging mother Julia. The women try to start over and hope their identities will remain unknown, but town gossip spreads quickly and unravels their deepest family secrets and truths.
