In the Dark plot

Murphy, a blind woman in her twenties, goes through life in a drunken haze. She has only two friends - Jess, her sensible roommate, and Tyson, a teenage drug dealer who rescued her from a violent robbery. While walking her guide dog Pretzel, she discovers a corpse, which must be Tyson. But before the police arrive, the body is gone. When the police have no intention of investigating further, Murphy decides to find out for herself what happened to her boyfriend. Meanwhile, she's also busy with colorful dates and the job she hates at "Breaking Blind," her overprotective parents' guide dog school.
