Oh, oh, oh. This second season is really bad compared to the first. The first season was a fresh, contemporary version of Sex and the City, with a strong focus on the humor in the loose sex life of the loose sluts. This sequel is 80 percent heavy drama that they sometimes try to bring in a somewhat light-hearted way. Add another 15 percent corny romance and you notice that the room for a laugh was rather limited. The humor is also terribly bland and downright bad. I have little sympathy for the main character and the other two chicks also irritate me more than anything else. That plush animal was just ridiculous and unattractive to look at. The continuous breaking of the 4th wall quickly gets boring. They have tried to magnify the things that made this series funny, but failed disgracefully.

I don't completely agree with my upstairs neighbor. I thought the first season was almost brilliant, and although I think this season is a bit less, I still thoroughly enjoyed the freshest and coolest series that the Flemish television landscape has had to offer in recent years.

Frances Lefebure, although not really a personal favorite as presenter, carries the series with a performance that even Phoebe Waller-Bridge cannot compete with. The 2 other friends are also doing well, but it is Lefebure who steals the show for me.

The many creative discoveries are impossible to keep up with and the dialogues sometimes feel a bit forced, but at other times they are brilliant.

I didn't like a few new characters such as that friend of Flo's mother (again, the same tiring and unfunny role by Herwig Illegems) and Kopieboy, but this is offset by the hilarious role of Peter De Graef with more playing time as a TikTok therapist. .

The core of course remains the friendship between the three friends and the unbridled creativity. Not everything works equally well and I liked the storylines in season 1 a little better, but still more than 4* for this second year.
