F.C. De Kampioenen plot

The series revolves around the adventures of a poorly performing café football team, called FC De Kampioenen. They cannot live without each other despite the many rivalries, pranks and jealousy. Many scenes take place in the Crucke family's pub and on the field. This field is close to the garage of DDT, who keeps trying to thwart De Kampioenen. Most of the other important characters are the players and their wives, and Boma, the sponsor and also president of the club.

The last season and the movies were a lot less. But I can live with this Christmas special. There isn't really a story, just a nice reunion between the actors in the beautifully recreated familiar interior. And nice how they show a tribute to Xavier. Not a high flyer of course, but come on, nice to have seen.

This seems like a nice end to the hype, 30 years has been nice I think.

RIP Xavier = RIP FC The Champions!
