Life in Detroit is often not a bed of roses. There is a lot of unemployment, large deprived areas and a lot of crime. The realization of dreams is therefore not self-evident in this city. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't just keep trying. Best friends Sam and Tim are also chasing their dream. Not as a rapper or rock star, but as advertisers. With no talent, connections or cash, the two best friends, armed with tons of humor and bad jokes, take on the big advertising agencies. In this they are assisted by their incompetent secretary Sheila and their saving angel Lea. Between producing low-budget advertisements for local businesses and seeking out new clients, the two business partners and brothers-in-law try to make the most of their unusual and sometimes hopeless lives.
