Benson plot

Governor Eugene Gatling is a widower and lives in a large mansion with his daughter Katie. He hires Benson DuBois as head of the household. As such, Benson has to deal with the likes of Gatling's political assistants John Taylor and Clayton Endicott, secretaries Marcy Hill and Denise Stevens, press officer Pete Downey and German cook Gretchen Kraus, with whom he regularly clashes.
