The young Viking Thorfinn grew up listening to the tales of ancient sailors who had sailed the ocean and reached the site of legend, Vinland. It is said to be warm and fertile, a place where there is no fighting. Unlike the frozen village in Iceland where Thorfinn was born. As a mercenary, the war is now his home and the battle between the English and the Danes is getting worse every year. Vikings mercenaries enjoy every moment and an alliance with one of the parties will greatly upset the balance of power. In this chaotic time, Thorfinn seeks revenge on Askeladd, the man who killed his father. To achieve his goal, he joins Askeladd's gang.
