Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure plot

In 1890, the "Steel Ball Run" was announced, an unprecedented 4,000-mile horse race across North America with a $50 million prize. Protagonist Johnny Joestar, a former brilliant jockey paralyzed from the waist down after a trivial incident, decided to enter. While registering for the race, he met Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious outlaw from the Kingdom of Naples who possessed the gift of spinning steel balls. When Johnny touched one of Gyro's steel balls, he temporarily regained his legs, giving him renewed hope and determination to unravel the secret of this power.
