Billy the Kid plot
Epic romantic adventure based on the life of famed American outlaw Billy the Kid, following from his humble Irish roots, through his early days as a cowboy and marksman on the American frontier, to his pivotal role in the Lincoln County War and beyond. In many ways a great series that almost certainly prepares a second season and has not left it for me.
And, if I may say something about Billy the Kid as a person...? This is now, to put it in a current and often heard term, "an underprivileged". Lied to unrealistic promises by governments, choked by violence, corruption, unjust treatment, Billy quickly passes for someone he is absolutely not.
Circumstances simply didn't give him a chance.
