Final verdict: 4 stars. Great story, solid cast. Nice to see Annette Bening again, and also that Ed Harris is now appearing in a series. The latter was complaining in interviews that his character wasn't well-developed, but he appeared frequently in all episodes, so I have no idea what he was actually whining about.
During production, there was a change of producer, which was reportedly accompanied by some friction, but it doesn't show in the quality of the series. I did miss some landscapes and nice shots of the "cowboying," but Texas is simply a less photogenic location than the Montana from Yellowstone.
Beth and Rip remain a cool duo, but unfortunately, there are also two terribly annoying characters in it: the role of Carter changes into an annoying rebellious little guy who starts dating an even more annoying girl with a square Minecraft head and whose skinny tits are pushed up so absurdly high with a push-up bra that they almost touch her injected lips. Both characters are annoying and make annoying choices.
Nevertheless, 4 stars, looking forward to the next season.
