Sofia, an eight-year-old girl, is an ordinary girl from the village. Her life changes when her mother marries the king and she suddenly becomes a princess. An important role in the series is the amulet she received from her stepfather. When Sofia puts on this amulet, she suddenly has magical powers that allow her to talk to animals, for example.
