Medabots plot

The story is set in the 22nd century and is about the adventures of a group of children who fight each other with their unique 'pet' robots, the Medabots. Each Medabot has artificial intelligence through a medal and has a specialized arsenal of unique interchangeable weapons at its disposal. The Medabots battle each other in exciting Robattles, led by Mr. Referee, where the loser must surrender part of his Medabot to the winner. Each child hopes to become well enough to compete for their country in the World Robattle Tournament, which is held once every four years. The main character in the series is Ikki, with his Medabot Metabee.
