The first rule about Fight Club...
Very happy with my Amazon subscription, because especially the series offer is very good. So was Mr. Robot has been on my list for several years. The series starts very strong with a difficult to fathom main character, excellently played by Rami Malek. Because of the way of storytelling and certain characters, the comparison with Fight Club is quickly made, and that is exactly my favorite movie.
I liked the plot twists. You can see them coming from miles away, and actually I would have liked the story more if it hadn't been for the twists. That made the second part a bit less for me. Funny to read that people didn't find Tyrell's story interesting. I think that's one of the most interesting characters in the series.

Brilliant first season with great synth music, dry acting by Malek, originality, quite accurate technological elements (even the Unix scripts are correct) and a nice atmosphere of paranoia. Due to the unusual characters such as the Wellicks (Tyrell is perverted, but his Angelina Jolie lookalike wife is also special), Elliott's sister, his father, complex relationships between them and a supreme E-Corp and a Dark Army next to it, there is plenty going on . The Guy Falkes-esque resistance through the F-society against the establishment also appeals. Unfortunately, the next season would become increasingly vague, mediocre and sleep-inducing. The beginning of season 4 definitely felt like the proverbial night candle going out for me.
