I thought this season was just a bit less than the previous 2. The point seems to have been made a bit by now, not much development in the characters. Very entertaining again, culminating in the undersea episode.

'Fish Out of Water', 'Best Thing That Ever Happened' and 'That's Too Much, Man!' are my favorite episodes of this season. It remains remarkable how something so nonsensical, disturbed and yet so deeply convincing. In any case, it is nice that they further explore the relationships between BoJack with Princess Carolyn and Sarah Lynn. Still, I'm not completely convinced why this third season received such insane reviews. The animation may be on a higher level, but many supporting roles such as Todd with his new girlfriend and Princess Carolyn's dating adventures are not that interesting. What the season consistently continues to do well is that it is cluttered with little jokes and curious extras, which in itself makes it a small viewing pleasure. Unfortunately, this is also my least favorite season because it focuses more on the random silliness than on the build-up of dramatic confrontations.

The best season so far. It's hard and direct, emotional and with a lot of bitter humor. The characters all get enough time to develop, definitely a plus of this season.
Especially the death of Sarah Lynn was unexpected, the scene certainly impressed me. One of the best scenes of this season.
Episodes 4 and 11 are my favorite.
On to season 4.
