Gormenghast plot

The Gormenghast series, based on the trilogy "Gormenghast" by writer Mervin Peake, revolves around the ancient castle of Gormenghast where the youngest member of the family has just been born. This Titus is heir to the throne of his father, but the ambitious Steerpike, a cook boy, tries to take over power. Steerpike is not afraid of anything and wants to reach his goal at all costs.
