The Rig plot
The crew of the Kinloch Bravo oil rig, located off the Scottish coast in the dangerous waters of the North Sea, must be picked up and returned to the mainland. Then a mysterious, dense fog sets in. The oil rig is hit by massive earthquakes, and they are cut off from all communication with the outside world. As the crew tries to discover where this unknown force comes from, a major accident forces them to question who they can trust.

I think it's a great series. Entertaining. Exciting.
A scenario that is certainly not to be ignored of what we are doing to our planet. We are screwing up the planet with the oil companies as an example of the multinationals that are directing this.
We can investigate the past of the earth through the layers of the earth. Whether this also brings up danger is the question. An interesting hypothesis: by drilling into the layers of the earth and bringing up test samples we bring up unknown things.
There is nothing wrong with the acting. And yes, some are better than others. It never bothered me for a moment.
The scenes are exciting. And who is pulling the strings? What are the relationships between the crew members?
The location looks real. It seems to be partly filmed on a real oil rig. Although some of the footage is very CGI.
It remains sci-fi and not all choices and steps are equally logical. So what?
I'm curious about part 2.
