Rose Red plot

Teacher/psychologist Joyce Reardon is obsessed with the impressively large house Rose Red. Unexplained incidents are reported to have occurred in the house, but it has been quiet since the house has been locked. Completely against the will of the university and Professor Miller, she assembles a group of paranormal people to investigate Rose Red. Her boyfriend, Steve Rimbauer, is the last remaining heir to Rose Red. His grandmother Ellen Rimbauer has disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Each of the group has a specific paranormal ability, but with the autistic girl Annie Wheaton, Joyce hopes to bring the haunted house back to life.
