My Mother and Other Strangers is a drama set in 1943 during World War II. The series follows the Coyne family and their neighbors in the fictional village of Moybeg, on the shores of Lough Neagh, Northern Ireland. After a US Air Force base is set up in the middle of their community, they try to live a normal life among the soldiers.
