David Morrissey! The versatile British actor, known from Tip Toe, The Walking Dead, and The Missing, can implode like no other. In Gone, Morrissey plays the highly disciplined headmaster Michael Polly, who is confronted with the disappearance of his wife. The thriller-drama genre is not reinvented in Gone, but the acclaimed and prolific screenwriter and showrunner Georg Kay (Lupin, The Long Shadow) turns it into a strong six-part drama. Thanks to clever plot twists, outstanding acting, sparkling dialogue, and built-up psychological tension, Gone is more than successful as a whodunnit.
