Ângela Diniz: Assassinada e Condenada plot

Based on the true story of the 1976 murder of Brazilian socialite Ângela Diniz. A woman known for her independent and flamboyant lifestyle in conservative Brazil in the 1970s, Diniz was shot dead by her jealous boyfriend, Doca Street, in their beach house in Búzios. During the initial trial in 1979, Street's defense successfully argued for "legitimate defense of honor," discrediting Diniz's lifestyle. Doca received a suspended sentence and was acquitted. Continued public and media attention forced a retrial. In 1981, Doca Street was convicted of murder and sentenced to 15 years in prison.
