It is 1805. Pierre, Natasha and Andrei are all part of the fashionable elite of St Petersburg. With youthful ambition they are looking for the meaning of life. The kind but troublesome Pierre, illegitimate son of Russia's richest man, wants to make the world a better place. Frustrated by the superficiality of his life, the handsome and gallant Andrei seeks purpose, while the beautiful and high-spirited Natasha searches for true love.
