Innan Vi Dör plot

Hanna, who works for a branch of the Stockholm police that fight organized crime, becomes involved in a power struggle in the underworld when her lover and colleague Sven is kidnapped. The situation becomes even more complicated when it turns out that her son, whom she has not seen for a long time, is also involved in the case.

Not a high flyer, this Scandinavian crime series, but the series has its moments. The characters are captivating enough, but there are a lot of plot holes. The script depends on coincidences and especially the first half of the series is quite boring. Gradually things get a bit more exciting. But in the end, this is definitely not top notch.

Excellent Scandinavian series with an ingenious plot, comparable to a chess game. A great cast that puts together a fascinating whole. Except for Adam Pålsson: he plays just such a sleep-inducing figure as in Young Wallander - Season 1 (2020). I'm going to assume he doesn't walk around as stoned in real life as he does in his roles.

Season 1: in terms of episodes, a bit too much of a good thing, but despite that it is worth watching and a reasonable conclusion, so that season 2 is not a must.

Season 2: There are some pretty improbabilities here, but that doesn't change the fact that this season was more exciting than the first. It is in fact a requirement to have seen season 1 if you want to be able to follow the story completely. The downside of season 2 is the ending, which is quite poorly developed and hence calls for a third season.
