The Last Man on Earth plot

The year is 2022, and after an unlikely event, there's only one man left on Earth: Phil Miller, an ordinary guy who previously loved his family and hated his job at the bank. Now, in his RV, Phil searches for survivors in the country. He has traveled to every city, village and outpost in the United States, Mexico and Canada and has not found anyone. This leads to the painful realization that he is almost certainly the last alive in the world.

Het derde seizoen van 'The Last Man on Earth' (2016-2017) heeft één van meest wispelturige seizoenen die ik ooit heb gezien. Waar baseer ik mijn cijfer op? Op het ijzersterke begin, midden en eind waarin de serie onverwacht duister uit de hoek komt voor een sitcom? Of vertaal ik mijn ergernis om in een laag cijfer voor de eindeloze filler en het inconsequente plot? (En het plot is zinloos, want tegen het einde besloten de makers zelfs om de belangrijkste verhaallijnen gewoon op te lossen door vooruit te spoelen met een goedkope fast forward ) Ik moet bijna terugdenken aan de tijd dat ik als 17-jarige Naruto en Dragon Ball Z volgde, en dat je lijstjes kon vinden op internet met de episodes die je moest kijken om het hoofdplot te begrijpen. Het vreemdste is dat ze me, door de bizarre ontknoping, toch weer enthousiast hebben gemaakt voor het vierde seizoen.

The third season of 'The Last Man on Earth' (2016-2017) has one of the most fickle seasons I've ever seen. What do I base my grade on? On the rock-solid beginning, middle and end in which the series comes out unexpectedly dark for a sitcom? Or am I translating my annoyance into a low grade for the endless filler and inconsistent plot? (And the plot is meaningless, because towards the end the creators even decided to the main storylines just solve by fast-forwarding with a cheap fast forward ) I almost think back to the time when I was a 17-year-old Naruto and Dragon Ball Z followed, and that you could find lists on the internet of the episodes you had to watch to understand the main plot. The strangest thing is that, because of the bizarre denouement, they have made me enthusiastic again for the fourth season.
