Finally another season of Prison Break between the walls of a prison. In terms of atmosphere and intensity, the adventures from Fox River are approached, or in some cases even surpassed. That whole aspect of a dictatorial regime in the absence of clean guards is a useful addition to the tension. In addition, there's finally a worthy villain - a female this time - and a new character whose loyalty is questionable (or not...?). Thank goodness ''The Company'' has been reduced to the shadowy organization it once was. All in all it is a very decent series, but too often there is a feeling that we have all seen it before. This is mainly due to the style tricks that the writers have already used in previous series and are now using again. It has simply become too predictable for a viewer of the first hour.

Locked up in a prison abroad.
Everyone's nightmare, of course, and season 3 of Prison Break has done enough with that idea. Sharing your cell with I-don't-know-how many strange people, the corrupt system, the gangsters who live within the walls, the filth of everything. What happens to Bellick is the idea I think everyone has a little bit of these kind of prisons. So the makers have responded nicely to that. But then the best thing actually happens in Sona.
Because it's not that great out there anymore. It's nice that the tables have turned and Lincoln now has to get Michael out of the walls and we get a really nice new badguy that Lincoln and Michael have to work with to a certain extent to get someone else out [/ spoiler]. Fortunately, all political games have been pushed into the background a bit more. But other than that we don't get much more interesting outside of Sona. Just the fact that Sara is still alive .
Acting still remains very strong. Fichtner and Williams in particular really go to extremes. The newcomers also contribute well.
Technically still very solid, although I do miss some flair that was well present in S1 and S2. But otherwise very solid.
Nice continuation, although the stretch is already a bit out here, you notice and it no longer comes to the great level of the first season.
