The series starts off brilliantly and the first three episodes contain everything I look for in a series: a mysterious story, good actors, suspense and sensation. Unfortunately, from 4 episodes it all collapses and the grind starts. I now regret that I recommended the series to so many people.
The fact is that the viewer is kept on a leash for ten episodes, there is absolutely no denouement and in the end the viewer is left with all his questions. There is therefore no explanation for the possession of that little black boy, for the burning teddy bear on the plane, the witchcraft of Lot. Nor do we know who Travis and whether there was actually cannibalism on the island? However, the latter was suggested, but we take the scenes related to this as deliberate mist spraying and leading people astray. That's extraordinarily cheap in a mystery film. Anyone can come up with questions or come up with absurd situations, what matters to him is how clever the answers are. How do all those girls come to an end? We see only two characters die after the crash when it should have been ten. What do those symbols on the trees mean? Really not a single question is answered. Truly an extremely disappointing denouement. The comparison with Lost certainly applies, naives also hoped for answers after every season, but they never came after the milking and six seasons.

Great series. From episode 1 you want to keep watching. The characters are well put together. Really recommended.
